he Islamic Cultural Centre of Latvia was established in March 2011. The head of the Islamic Cultural Centre was elected Zufar Zajnullin. The main goals of the Centre is to unite the Muslims of Latvia, to conduct various activities related to Islam, and actions aimed at explaining in Latvian society the true of values of Islam, at educating children, managing the mosque, etc.

In March 2013 the head of the Islamic Cultural Centre in Latvia was elected Arbi Indorbaev.

In June 2014 the new head of the Islamic Cultural Centre in Latvia was elected Imran Oleg Petrov.

05.06.2015 at the meeting of the members of the Islamic Cultural Centre it was decided that Imran Oleg Petrov could be released from his duties because of his departure for studies and his inability to perform the duties of the head of the Islamic Cultural Centre. Hamza Janis Lutsinsh was appointed the new head.
